ive been welding for a year now in shops. worked in tulsa ok at one now in austin texas. i was a pipe welder at both shops but as you know it was all mig flux and some heli arc. i just had a son and looking to get into the field. i can run stick rods up or downhill but not near the caliber i think i need to be but i am a hard worker and learn very fast. i guess what im asking is just some help getting started. if anyone could help give me a jump start it would be much appreciated! i am NOT asking for a handout just maybe some tips on where to start. thank you
