Where to find Aluminum Threaded Pipe Inserts?

I'm interested in fabbing up a aluminum strut tower bar out of something like 1.25" pipe.  Where can I find weldable aluminum threaded pipe inserts?I can find steel ones all over the place but I never see aluminum ones?Something like this: Last edited by TeCKis300; 04-23-2010 at 04:57 PM.

Reply:You can get aluminum pipe fittings through mcmaster.com as well as just about everything you'll ever need.  You'll pay a premium for the convenience but for small purchases they're great.

Reply:You might try Ballistic Fabrication as far as I know they make all their own in house, so i`m sure they could toss a billet of aluminum on their CNC machine for you.They also sell Aluminum Links that may work for your project.
