Does anyone own a Smith gas mixer (proportioner) ?

I would like to get rid of my 75/25 bottle. It would mean one less cylinder on my lease bill and I could mix my own 90/10 for spray occasional spray transfer instead of having to borrow a cylinder. Only problem is that I don't have the cash to spend on Smith's little magic box.This is how I *think* it works:Argon flowmeter on tank is replaced with a pressure regulator.CO2 tank flowmeter on tank is replaced with a pressure regulator.% CO2 on Smith mixer is some kind of variable orifice (proprietary?) .SCH flow on Smith mixer is a standard flowmeter that works after the gases mix.There's probably some kind of check valves in there somewhere?If anyone knows what the inside of one of these things work and can give me some guidance/ specs, I'd be extremely grateful.
