was wondering if any of you guys have built your own 5th wheel tailgate? just bought a f-250 and was wanting to build a louvered tailgate for it
Reply:I built one for a customer several years ago. It wasn't too hard. I used flat strap for the lovers and 1 1/2" square tube for the frame of it. The only hard part was getting the latches to latch right. They worked off a cable that ran across the tail gate. I'm sorry, I don't have pictures.
