Going to buy some tanks today. My? is there any way to tell the difference between a rental tank verses a owner tank?Thanks
Reply:Customer-owned bottles don't (normally) have a gas vender name imprinted in the ring at the top of the bottle. Sometimes they do, but if they do, it's tough to tell they're not stolen. If the seller can give you a bill of sale from where he got them, that might help when you go to get them filled.I'd be careful. I bought some bottles and then couldn't find anyone to fill them for me.
Reply:Usually the ones for sale are not the large ones like the K or T size. Usually, you don't have a problem getting the small to medium size filled. Reply:Going to met the guy in the morning.says he has a  75/25/mix tank  size 160and a argon tank size 160both tanks are full$200.

Reply:I bought a 120 cu ft mig mix tank from the lws (Scott Gross, a regional outfit).   After I got it home I noticed their name on the collar.  The bill of sale clearly says "purchased".   Am I right to feel they pulled a fast one on me?Ken

Reply:What is a "welding tank" Is this a new process where you dip the parts in the tank and they come out welded?
