Welding & Fabrication Gallery (more than 100 images)

Hey guys, I made a gallery on my website recently. It allows shop owners to display their work for all to see. I love stainless exhausts, Alu intakes and turbos...specially after a few runs when the stainless goes that goldy colourIt wasnt directly my job on the team, but last year at uni, heres one i helped fabricateI welded the chassis and suspension in its entirety as well as the 0.8mm Alu fuel tank (you can just see it a 1/4" infront of the exhaust header)  Attached ImagesLast edited by psychosis; 01-05-2007 at 03:37 PM.

Reply:I'm not hatting, The fab. work is phenomenal but the welds aren't the best I've seen, there really good in all. I guess as a weld I'm pickier about welds then most...Anyhow keep up the good work guys.....cool stuffStrive For Perfection

Reply:Imports are on there only because I have not gotten any domestic pictures from anyone. Im not bias towards domestics! Most of the imports on the road are sad and have horrible exhausts and blinky lights. But you gotta give credit to some of them out there. They can really move with the right combination of parts. I hope soon that you guys will post some domestic fab work and I can add it to the gallery. I love all cars and appreciate all fab work.My favorite car of all is this one. Puts out about 1300hp. Ran a best time of 7.70 Best MPH 195He makes a killer transmission for the Eclipse/Talon/Laser/EVONot to bad for a 4 cylinder AWD car that still has most of its interior and stock body parts. Reply:I just found that people on an Australian Rally Forum found it somehow and are posting links to it. I just signed up for their forum and once I get the activation e-mail I will comment in there to see if there is anyone who wants to add some pics to the gallery. I think now I am going to put in a few more galleries because I am getting a ton of pics and they will take forever to load on one page.I added this counter to the site and it tells me where visitors came from so I can go to the forum or site it was linked from and get some more fabricators.I figure around 5 galleries will be good.Maybe Import, Domestic, Rally, Chassis Fabrication any ideas??? Reply:damn, each time I look at this blog I get a hard on. LOL Just Kidding. I wish one day, I can lay down welds like that. I have almost enough to get my TIG. I should have it within a week or so. I have been saving for almost a year!Jay-O
Reply:Man!  Those are some SICK exhaust systems!  I don't know anything about the engineering aspect of these, but I imagine that the volume of each tube from flange to flange must be the same?  Is that right?

Reply:John's motor puts way more than 1,300 wheel down but nobody really knows for sure.
Reply:I know its putting down may more than 1,300 hp now. I posted that in 2007 if you look at the date. Last time I talked to him he was saying that he was having traction problems. Anymore than 1,300 hp and he would just spin tire. I figure he can max out around 2,000 hp but would be next to impossible to drive down the strip. That car is just amazing to me. My Talon put out around 650 whp and was next to impossible to drive. I can just imagine 1,300+ hp. I would be dead!!!!!!!!!!!!Jay-O

Reply:Do you remember the DSM Shootout when his intake manifold exploded due to a nitrous backfire and hit the track employee in the chest at the timeslip booth! He turned off his car to get his timeslip and when he went to restart the car, the nitrous was left on and caused a nitrous backfire LOL that was ****ing hilarious only because the kid was not really injured. The highlight of my DSM life was when me and my best friend helped him take off the damaged one and replace it with a new one. If I remember correctly then he was running mid 9's. I haven't talked to him in a while. What's going on with the car now? Anything planned for this year?Jay-O
