Filler metals from online suppliers?

Anyone ever order noname brand fillers from online supplies? Weldingdepot.com has tig filler that is a better price then around here. Its a no name brand ( not linclon.. or such). Im just wondering because i know noname brand harbor freight wire is terrible.Ya gotta spend money to make money!
Reply:I buy the tig filler from welding depot.com.  I also bought a 33 lb roll of 1/16" mig wire.  Haven't tried it yet.I think its worth it.David Real world weldin.  When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.
Reply:Watch the shipping on weldingdepo. Com. Some of their prices are great, but the shipping can be half as much again. I was looking for hobart stick rods. I found weldingsupply to be better priced for a lot of things after shippingI'm always looking for a good online supplier as I live in a remote areaG
Reply:I forgot to mention that I used depots no name 7018 and 7014 and found them to work just fine. No print on the rods thought so keep them labelledG

Reply:Can't say I noticed any color change from 14's to 18's. But ill look. I'm talking about the ones in the blue hexagonal plastic box with the burgendy lid. The "E" number wasn't even on the box!
