Reply:So you cut out the damaged conveyor section then moved it back together so they can get some use till you get the other section healed up again? Sounds a lot better than down time or working straight through hours on end to get them going again. Neat work."The things that will destroy America are prosperity at any price, peace at any price, safety first instead of duty first, the love of soft living and the get rich quick theory of life." -Theodore Roosevelt

Reply:Originally Posted by dppmfgSorry for not giving a better decription I do not spell very good and hate to type.We Just got the conveyor tacked back together will finish the frame work monday then move the drive pulley and be ready to start moving rock. They already had a extra conveyor at the site it had bad bearing journals on the tail shaft so I air arced the shaft out as it was very stuck and that was faster than taking it back to the shop to use the press. and my trusty 40 lb sledge would not budge it Did not mintion it because I did not have any pics to post the pit owner was rather wound up and probaly would not like me taking pics insted of getting him running agian. Thanks |
