Sorry for the pic quality I am not very good at the photo thing.Also forgive the fact that my pics go from start to finish rather quick. I am not very good at rembering to  take pics as things progress hope some day to make posts as good as Zap!Pic 1 and 2 weld up worn key on kabota engineTig weld 200 amps 3/32 steel fillerpic 3 and 4 Crane clutch od worn down had to weld up and turn od. Sorry no pics of the finished job. 110 amps 7018  Tried to stick it because of all the great welds I see on this site I Have been motivated to try and improve my very limited skills.Pic 5 cut out for local masonic lodge done on our cnc plasma cutter. Reply:This Was the noise Operator ran A wheel loader in to It = broken conveyor.Pic 1 2 and 3 how it looked like when I got there after the belt is cutPic 4 First job to cut it in half so we can safely move it away so We can fix it.Pic 5 In position ready for us to start a fixing. Attached Images
Reply:We moved the two peices together after cutting out the broken sections.Build the pillars out of 3 in sq tube 1/4 wall tube pick up the peices. get it all in a line agian. and tack it up.Real fun will start monday lots of welding and fab will Try to keep the post updated.Hope it was not to bad for a new member. Reply:So you cut out the damaged conveyor section then moved it back together so they can get some use till you get the other section healed up again? Sounds a lot better than down time or working straight through hours on end to get them going again. Reply:Originally Posted by dppmfgSorry for not giving a better decription I do not spell very good and hate to type.We Just got the conveyor tacked back together will finish the frame work monday then move the drive pulley and be ready to start moving rock.They already had a extra conveyor at the site it had bad bearing journals on the tail shaft so I air arced the shaft out as it was very stuck and that was faster than taking it back to the shop to use the press. and my trusty 40 lb sledge would not budge it Did not mintion it because I did not have any pics to post the pit owner was rather wound up and probaly would not like me taking pics insted of getting him running agian.Thanks
