Wondering if any of you have a cheap place to buy steel bushings with a 5/8" ID, 1" OD, and preferably in lengths measured in feet?I found some 2.25" long bushings on a site (bought them too) for about 3-5 each (can remember exact amount). Reply:1"OD with 5/8"ID is 3/16" wall which is what I looked up there. a 10' stick will run ya $70 + shipping, longer lengths are cheaper still a 17' stock length with no cut runs $6.50 a foot. 1" comes in wall thickness from 18ga to 5/16" from them.

Reply:If you want 3/8" wall with a 1.0" OD you end up with a 1/4" hole. I think you are subtracting the 5/8 from 1" to get the 3/8" but then you must divide by two to get the wall thickness which will be .187 or 3/16. Maybe I'm missing something.Dan
