Jackson EQC Executive Variable lens

I have a Jackson EQC Executive Variable welding helmet that i bought in the fall of 2003. I can't get it to work. I tried new batteries, the face plate is clean, It just will not work. Does anyone else have this helmet and have you had any problems? I used to love this thing but tossed it to the side a while back and went to a fixed shade helmet. Thanks. How old are your Auto Darkening helmets that are still functioning properly and do you have any that are not working? Any brand.
Reply:I seem to remember that Jackson has a after warranty trade-in type service for dead EQCs.  Call them, explain your situation, and see if that's correct.
