So after a not so great previous week, melted down my air cooled torch in the middle of a job, broke a tooth on some chicken . This weekend made up for it went to go look at some tanks O/A on craigslist and found this a near perfect Rock Island 577 swivel base mounted on a 3/4 thick 3x3 table with 44# anvil alsoThe paint has got to go cant stand fake alluminum  but under it you can still see original MFG riveted tag  oh yeh picked up the tanks also and found a like new dayton 3 ton chainfall at fleamarket Attached Images250DXMM251MM175225G plus 251D-1

Reply:Great find on the vise. I have one of equal size and would like to pass on a little tip. That is a long and heavy handle and it will pinch your fingers eventually. Here's my solution, a couple of thick orings slipped over the end and no more blood blisters.  Attached Images
