Reply:I like it, especially all of the covered storage. Did you fab all of the tops and storage bins or install pre made? Looks good either way. Keeps all the stuff in the boat on the way to and from the pond.I'm spending my Kids inheritance, I dont like him that much anyway!!!!!!Enuff tools to do the job, enough sense to use em.Anybody got a spare set of kidneys? Trade?
Reply:You can't have too much storage.I built the entire boat from scratch. The hull and all. That is the only fishing boat I have built. All the other boats I have built have all been mud boats that run mud motors. All the storage I build is always waterproof. Even live wells are made waterproof so it can be used as storage if needed.Yes I can tack it for you. I know that won't hold but that is what you asked me to do. Reply:Okay now the OP makes sense, I looked at it and wondered exactly what was he referring too. I like the covered storage as well. But the center control station reminds me more of a bay boat than a bass boat. I do like thr tread plate on the bow deck, are you going to add a trolling motor up front? How do you like the Honda motor, is it 2 or 4 stroke? I wish my boat had more rod storage, but being a fish and ski it lacks rod storage, but for the price I couldnt complain, and with the 120hp it gets up and go. What I really hate is the rude people that have to blast by and wake my boat while I'm fishing, I slow down and putter by others so I dont wake them.MAC WS1110 Mig WelderWoodworker HobbyistDelta 10" Table Saw, Delta Planer, Bosch and Craftsman Routers, 48" Craftsman Lathe, drill press, 1/2" hand and cordless drills, scroll saw, skill saws, jig saws, etc, and too many hand tools to list, lol
Reply:Actually the guy I built it for does live on the coast. He uses it more on the bay then the lakes. I built the console to his specs. The motor is a 4 stroke and they are sweet. They actually have some problems some times with the starters because they are so quite people some times hit the starter when they are already running. The rod boxes are both 10' boxes. I do all my horizontal surfaces (floors and decks) in diamond plate for non skid surfaces.Yes I can tack it for you. I know that won't hold but that is what you asked me to do.
