ok so i bought one of those cheap benders. it came with several dies but the biggest one is 3'' so i was wandering if anyone has made bigger dies for it. if so how big can you go what material did you use. PS we do have a tool and die shop where i work and i am sure i can get some free labor out of them. any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks jerry
Reply:Bigger than 3'' ? WOW ! Did you bend 3'' schedule 40 pipe on yours ?? That sounds scary !

Reply:I have dies I've made up to about 9" for round rods. They are made out of winch line pulleys. I made one out of 6" pipe that I welded a round to each side with holes in them. Not difficult to do at all.
