Reply:Looks like you did a fine job from here, but if I could offer a little advice for future reference. The angle frame is o.k. for lite duty kinda stuff but if they are gonna be riding 4 wheelers or commercial lawn equipment up it, over time it will bend and bow. You may want to build the next one with 1"x2"x14 ga. box tubing, much stronger and will last longer. Reply:Originally Posted by MondoLooks great!  I like the idea of side loading for ATVs and mowers.  You don't have to unload everything in the back to get one off the front.My thoughts on using box tubing for trailer frames:Moisture gets trapped inside and corrodes it from the inside out and there is no stopping it.  Capping the ends is the worst thing you can do.  Moisture likes to get into small places ands stay there doing it's dirty work.  But leaving the ends open doesn't guarantee they will dry out inside between wet spells.Channel shapes and I-beam and H-Beam shapes have a chance to dry off in still air and don't trap condensation.  And you can easily clean and repaint all the surfaces periodically which can't be done with box shapes. - Mondo
