Hello all, I am new to MIG/FC welding (stick welded in the past) and have a couple of questions after some searching.I understand that the quality of the welder makes a big difference in welding eg Hobart/Miller.I originally purchase HF 240 v/170 amp model but now am looking on CL and have found a Hobart and Miller 175. Anything I should be aware of buying older models other then how much use they have seen?I'll be welding 1/8 - 3/8 steel bumper brackets on my truck, what is recommended FC or MIG, and if MIG what recommended shielded gas bottle size? I have a local airgas dealer close buy. Thanks for any help.Cheers!
