Torch cooler Question

Hi Folks, I am going to try to build my own cooler. Question is, is it feasible. I have been given a working wall mount drinking fountain that has a  water leak in the cooling pipe, the freon side is perfect, I was asked to take it to the dump for my boss.Upon looking it over, it has almost all the things I need to make my own refrigerated water torch cooler. Also will have some scrap stainless and aluminum to practice with  my new toy on. Another question is aside from an expansion tank and a small circulating pump and a few fittings what will I need? (having never seen one up close). I know this is out of the ordinary but for free and a few small parts, it will be fun to build. Any input would be greatly appreciated, Thanks, Ed.

Reply:No, I read that in Fabricator mag a few years ago, great design, but not what I want to build. Every home built cooler I have seen has been some incarnation of this design, thanks for the link though.

Reply:I guess   a better question is has anyone built a REFRIGERATED water cooling system for a torch? Normal ambiant temperature  in a normal cooler of  water,  will be the  same temperature of the environment the cooler is used in. The cooler will have to bring the higher  temp back down. I want to built a refrigerated cooler. It sould bring the flow per minute   and pump size way down. But then again Edison told Tesla theat AC currant would never work..lol
