Im an doing my PWP 7 test next week and I havent done any pipe in a few years its 2'' and 6'' in the 6G position. What heat is good for the root? we have to 6010 uphand the hot pass whats a good heat for that? and is it better to weave the cap or run stringers? Thanks in advance.
Reply:Hello IRW, I can't give you specifics re: how much heat, but I can tell you to run stringers on every pass. On the 2'' particularly, let the pipe cool between passes, not quite so critical on the 6". I'm just up the valley from you in Kamloops; drop me a private message, and we'll chat.Bgbkwndo. |
