I finally did a second project. I started with an old bedframe:Chop, chop, weld, weld. Then I used some JB Weld to attach cut tacks. These should keep the candles in place.I used high heat paint. It was probably overkill but at least it should last. The back row is a little higher than the front row. It's a simple project but it's useful. I am quite pleased with how it turned out.
Reply:Pretty nice. Its end result definitely out weighs its simplicity.
Reply:Is that a miniature fire place or a GIANT cat ?
Reply:Ahahahah... Yeah, that looks like a 'great big ol' *****' to me! :PI bought a car from a guy years back and while signing the papers, his 'Cat' walked in the room. It was 28.9 lbs! Damn thing had bigger eyes than me and paws that were as big as my Labs... What a BEAST!Great job on the Candle Holder. I think I'll have to attempt this project.Cheers,Miller Diversion 165120 amp Buzz BoxVictor Oxy/Ace Oxy/LPGSmith "Little" Oxy/LPGHypertherm Powermax 30Lot's of Misc. tools n' crap....
Reply:That was a great idea! looks good.
Reply:Looks nice. I would remove the rack from the fireplace before having a fire, so it doesn't get warped from the heat.MM350P/Python/Q300MM175/Q300DialarcHFHTP MIG200PowCon300SMHypertherm380ThermalArc185Purox oaF350CrewCab4x4LoadNGo utilitybedBobcat250XMT304/Optima/SpoolmaticSuitcase12RC/Q300Suitcase8RC/Q400Passport/Q300Smith op |
