Hello. I'm welding 1" socket fittings and pipe. Its all visual and magnaflux inspections. How critical is a magnaflux test? Never had one done before, Should I treat it like an X-Ray? I have a space in the fitting for the pipe to expand so I will hopefully avoid a crack but will it pick up porosity?
Reply:It will show cracks. JGSMAW,GMAW,FCAW,GTAW,SAW,PAC/PAW/OFCand Shielding Gases. There all here. : |
