i made some hooks out of horseshoes and welded them to some 1-1/4 x 3/8  flat bar.. horseshoe welds were with the good old 110v fc wirepusher.. horseshoes to flatbar was  ta 185  3/32 7018  90amps dcep..cant finish and paint until my daughter decides where she wants to put it which determines how it gets finished.. Reply:Looks nice, Ive been collecting old horse shoes every time our ferrier comes out.  Havent done anything with them yet, still trying to figure out what I want to do with them.

Reply:Looks cool and really strong,you could probably hang the horse from it, however; I would've welded on the inside of the horseshoe. It would look a lot cleaner.
Reply:i welded the outside so i could get to them  with a grinder if my daughter wants the clean look.i personally would rather see the bead, but if i gotta grind em i have a better  chance of getting at them where they are..
