What do you use? Have you made anything unique that we should see?
Reply:I have a couple of chipping hammers i replaced the ends on them with threaded adapters and just screw in threaded hilti studs on the pointy end.Vantage 500's LN-25's, VI-400's, cobramatics, Miller migs, synch 350 LX, Powcon inverters, XMT's, 250 Ton Acurrpress 12' brake, 1/4" 10' Atlantic shear,Koikie plasma table W/ esab plasmas. marvel & hyd-mech saws, pirrana & metal muncher punches.

Reply:As an inspector guys that hammer on their welds with a chipping hammer drive me crazy. I would recommend the slag file and or a slag shank just a sawzall blade with a hockey tape handle.Last edited by Letzgoracin301; 07-20-2012 at 09:18 AM.

I think one of Murphy's Laws covers the breaking of a file.If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something. Usually my file broke just as I was trying to finish up in the test booth...... Attached ImagesLincoln SA200's... at least 15 - 20. They come and go.
