Diamond plate mail box

I got sick and tired of finding my mailbox smashed by vandals. So I built this one. Base plate from and old guard rail, diamond plate steel, 1/4 T steel post, 24 ga sheet metal, some hinges, and band steel. There were some Mig welder learning curves made on it as you can see from the sloppy beads. But I don't think they can smash this one... Attached ImagesEmbrace theTea Party movement. Congress! Reply:maybe you could make the jesus sign out of 1/2" plate and cut out the words with a plasma cutter, then they couldn't mess with that either!
