Reply:Suggest you check with local health dept., building dept. and fire marshal asto requirements THEY have on hoods, before the doing.It can be 'involved'.....been there and dun that.A oven hood functionally is a different animal than a stove hood.I formally submitted plans for prior approval, along with writtenarguments citing codes---to confuse them with the facts--ona pizza oven hood.Blackbird
