Paper Bucket

Had to make a tipping bucket hydraulically dump. Made some mounts and put a cylinder on it. The bucket holds paper bales and only needs to dump enough for it to slide out. I used a cylinder with a 14 inch throw. I still have to add lines and fit it to the forklift it will be going on. I use a Lincoln Ranger 10 with 1/8 inch 7018. All of my work is out of the back of my truck onsite. Reply:Nice modification. Does the bucket have a stop on it? It looks like the cylinder rod could impact without a good stop.

Reply:The forklift it will be going on is much larger than the one the one I was using to hold it up while I was working on it. The mount will be removable with quick disconnects on the hoses. They were using the bucket as a tripping bucket, but with 2k lbs that can get a little hairy. So now they use a flat plate and cut the bale apart and pull it off by hand. A stop sounds like a good idea because I know that something is going to give with out it. However, if it gets bent then I will have to fix it, another days work and pay, ahah.
