and not the bad kind either. I bought a nitrogen bottle today, picking it up after work. can't wait to hook it up to my mig welder. I used a friend's welder with gas and my welds looked a lot better, and it was akward using his welder because it wasn't mine.I can't wait!

Reply:Sometimes it is used with mixtures of He for laser welding, and at times as a shielding gas for Tig on certain alloys. It has some technical issues and is not commonly used in manual welding.
