im just curious to know what the general downhand 6010 5p+ cwb test is, im sure there different procedures for different size pipes when being tested by a company but just wondering what the general test isany information is appreciated,,,ty in advance
Reply:Usually, not always, but usually, the test you have to burn is a 12" butt-joint in the 5G or 6G position, beveled edges end to end, and then the other is a 12" 90 degree branch. The branch is the real S.O.B. You have to cut the fishmouth, bevel, and fit the two pieces... it takes the better part of a day and they may or may not allow you to use a template. |
