I just picked up a hand truck to strap my tanks to. I was looking for any pictures of hand trucks that you members have modified such as places to hang your hoses and where you put the torch at.
Reply:Picked up one of those myself, no O2 tank yet, so haven't modified my truck yet. Interested in what others have done to modify a factory built hand truck.MarkI haven't always been a nurse........Craftsman 12"x36" LatheEnco G-30B MillHobart Handler 175Lincoln WeldandPower 225 AC/DC G-7 CV/CCAdd a Foot Pedal to a Harbor Freight Chicago Electric 165A DC TIG PapaLion's Gate Build

Reply:Man if you made one i would buy it for sure. I'm always dragging the cart around the shop and out in the gravel yard at work. And the old solid tires are not super great at gravel.Millermatic DVIMillermatic 251Older buzz box Cheap 120 welder
Reply:7A749, that is a nice cart, I like the hose reel, just dont want to fork over 200 bucks right now, Good idea on the fire extinguisher, Here is one I found on the internet today.
Reply:I think you should keep your truck to basics, most buy their trucks, depends onthe type of work, got mine at an auction, a plate with holes on the side for different nozzles, rosebud, striker and tank wrench, large tires for sure, "7A749" sure has a good pic, inline looks like a good design, that is how my tanks are, keep your tools in your tool box.I purge my lines when I am done with the torches so long hoses may not be the best idea although it is not much gas, it adds up. |
