I will be useing a miller Bobcat 250 portable stick welder on this as thats all I have. I welded this once about 5 yrs ago with 7014 and it has cracked through the welds which are at the base of the gear box mounting bracket. The welds where it cracked again are only about 3" long. The tiller frame is about 1/8" thick, is there a better rod than 7014 I should use thanks?
Reply:v out the old, weld up with 7018. Use gussets if necc
