Got tired of welding on the ground, tailgate of my pickup or whatever was handy to sit something on. Went to the steel shop this weekend and bought square tubing and a 3' x 5' sheet of 3/16" steel plate that they sheared. Spent a couple hours both Saturday and Sunday on it and I'm proud of the finished results.Couldn't decide if I wanted casters on it or just flat solid legs on it, then decided to weld 4 - 1" nuts to the bottom of the legs to thread a bolt to through and then lock it down to adjust the entire table to level it if needed wherever it may happen to be.
Reply:Is it just me or does that table have a slight arch? I also hope you dont plan on putting much weight on the nuts/feet. Other than that looks good. You have to learn the rules of the game. And then you have to play better than anyone else. Albert Einstein

Reply:Yeah, it is the camera angle. I can see what it looks like in the photo, but just got paranoid and went outside with a 4' level and it's perfectly flat, square and level. It'll be a dual purpose table, I'll only be doing small projects, and when not working on it, will use it for a bench rest out in the driveway for shooting rifles from, getting the best of both worlds use out of it.....

Reply:Im all for leveling feet on tables and such. but IMO you need to cut those off, get some 1/4" x 2" x2" pieces, center drill them, weld your nut on one side, and weld to the end of the square tube with the nut on the inside. there really is no need for a locking nut. just run the bolts in and level from there. unless you are dragging the table around they shouldn't move.
Reply:I  agree with Larphead, but otherwise excellent table !!!
Reply:looks great.   why use the levlers that bricklayers uses on platforms  would be much safer and stronger.  Just my concernOf course I don't look busy.....I did it right the first time!
