In two weeks I'm start a welding class at a local votech school so yesterday I did some welding for the first time. It was with my dad's lincoln weld pak 100 flux core welder with .030 wire.With the recommend heat going by the welder,With the heat turned down some,

Reply:Thanks for the advice and I'll be sure to update and keep yous posted on how schools going. Sorry about the picture size, Next time I'll remember to resize them. I've been practicing flux core welding more and I'll post pics of it tommorow to see what yous think and if yous have any suggestions on how to do better.

Reply:Metal was clean and prepped before I welding it but, I left it outside last night in the rain so it rusted before I took any pics.
