I have floated around and asked plenty of questions to which I always get great answer. Because of this, I got my MM 200 up and running so I started a project. Thanks for everyones help. Now that I'm out of excuses like blaming my welder.....Here is a 4 x 2 work bench that folds down for a friend of mine to about 2 inches from the wall. He has a one car garage and no space so I built this for him for xmas. I may have over engineered it with the 1x2 but I thought it looked better.Go easy on my welds, I'm a FNG to welding / fabricating and this is my first project with the MM 200, which I love by the way. Reply:That's a great idea. I too, have a tiny workspace. I never thought of a fold down table. I won't build one because I'd never fold it down anyway, but I still like the idea. Must be a good friend.Don't worry about anyone being hard on your welds, they aren't visible in your pictures.
Reply:lol,,, thats why I made the pictures so small and at night!!!He is military and deploys a bunch so thought i would help him out.Made it very easy to fold, kick the legs in and it drops to the ground... but with me i would just stack stuff on it and never drop it too.
Reply:Looks great. Was that all new material or did you have some of it laying around? Great idea.Regards,RobGreat Basin WeldingInstagramBlue weldersRed weldersMy luscious Table DIY TIG Torch cooler
