Just got a millermatic 250 for a great price...

I just scored a millermatic 250 off craigslist but it didn't come with a power cord to hook it up (the great price was due to me not being able to test it out) where does the two power cables hook into on the inside of the machine? It looks like they hook-up to the side of the power switch?I've been searching around the net but i cant seem to find an answer. Even inside the manual there is no pictures that i could find. Help please? thanks

Reply:i found the input hole and attached a cable cocking collar. I have also already picked up a 3/6awg power cable and attached a 50amp plug to one end. I just need to find the lug locations on the inside of the machine to attach the 3 power leads ( 2 power cables and one ground ).I got the machine for 350 but it took a little haggling and nit-picking

Reply:Did they say WHY the cord was missing? This doesn't give me a warm fuzzy feeling. Something makes me think this might be a dead machine and they pulled the cord so it couldn't be tested.I hope I'm wrong and it works well for you..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Reply:I agree, it threw me off too (about the missing cord). It was hard-wired to a breaker box as it was used in a work-cell its whole life. The guy I got it from "says" I can bri.g it back if its a dud, but lets hope not...,i'm hoping to fire it up tomorrow after I fugure out the wiring.
