i have a clarke 265 220v mig. on the board it has some adjustable "things", there are 5 of them and they say: teco, vmin, vmax, scope spool gun, rts, rampA. i assume v min and max means voltage min and max. and i think rts is ready to solder. but i am not sure and have no clue on the others.
Reply:Don't know exactly what you need help with? The values you say are adjustable are likely potentiometers, they can be used in series or parallel circuits to either adjust amperage or the voltage and are values for adjustment by authorized repair centers and require a non magnetic fibre screwdriver.
Reply:i, am most definately not, a welder repair man. i think ill just leave well enough alone. thanks for the reply
Reply:No you don't want to get involved in that stuff, but to clarify how easy it is to get bad information "pots"can be adjusted by ordinary screwdriver inductors needs plastic drivers. |
