Probably not a lot of interest in this here but figured I'd post it anyway. While I'm between jobs I figured I should get some projects done, this was one of them.Legs, frame, and lower shelft is all 3/16's. Legs/frame are 2x4's. The top is 6x1/2x42, it's all removable to access the plasma table below and to be able to remove one 6" piece and clamp parts down anywhere on the table.Still missing is the lower shelf which will be a solid piece of 1/4". I also need more 3/16" slats for the plasma part and to figure out what I'm going to use to close off the bottom of it if I decide I want to fill it with water.Anyway onto the pictures:Plasma slats:Table without the slats:Table with most of the top on. It's missing the two end pieces because I broke my only 1/4-20 tap and haven't gotten a new one to finish tapping the holes. It has wheels on it and I left some extra meat on the mounts to drill/tap so I can run a bolt throught it to lift it off the wheels and level it to the other table and/or the earth.
Reply:very cool. how did you cut all the slots for the slats?Nice job More pics PleaseDayePound to fit, paint to match |
