Reply:The answer is on the right hand page about halfway down. You will have to read the paragraph[ how to use a basic spot welder + spot weld testing] a few times to get it to sink in.http://books.google.com/books?id=B4U...elding&f=false
Reply:so is the dwell time and weld time settings for spot or stitch welding only?the link in your post was for me to buy a book. There was no information available.
Reply:Yes, dwell and weld time are the spot/stitch controls. Turn those off to do regular, continuous mig welding. Only 3 settings you need to control for regular mig is voltage, wire speed and gas flow, if using solid wire and gas.MM350P/Python/Q300MM175/Q300DialarcHFHTP MIG200PowCon300SMHypertherm380ThermalArc185Purox oaF350CrewCab4x4LoadNGo utilitybedBobcat250XMT304/Optima/SpoolmaticSuitcase12RC/Q300Suitcase8RC/Q400Passport/Q300Smith op
Reply:thank you for the answer. I just have to figure out what I should set the gas at. I would like to use it to weld some square tube 1/8 inch wall thickness. Would I be better off to get a bottle of 75/25 for mild steel welding?
