so im going to probe some of your vast knowledge on this board...On the topic of wood gasification I see systems that use fans and forced air jets and similar complicated systems. Is there a generally simpler way to burn the burnable parts of wood smoke? The heater I made doesnt put out any visible smoke when its in full burn- does this mean I am burning all useful gasses before they escape?By having the exchanger mounted above the burner, is that allowing a space for the gas to collect and re-burn before escaping up the flu?Im asking this because Im thinking about building a wood boiler for my house but I dont want to design one that is overly complicated nor one that is under-efficient. -thus I want the simplest way to burn my gasses. Any ideas?
