A little project I got to weld this week after hours. Lots of welding. The plates were all punched and cut, all I had to do was fit up and weld. Kind of project I like, wish I could have one every week like it. Attached ImagesGood judgement comes from experience.Experience comes from bad judgement.

Reply:looks good hood time can be great just tune out the word and burn rod. What mat / thickness process and settings? Thanks
Reply:The material was 1/4" steel, .035 wire, Airgas tri-mix CO2, argon, and oxygen. Couldn't tell you the amps, it is number 3 on the dial of a millermatic 210. They just went out the door, now I can clean up. My dad always told me he did his "best thinking under the hood", and I did have a bit of that on this project. I tried to figure out the middle east, oil crisis, and global warming problems, but I think I will need more hood time.Good judgement comes from experience.Experience comes from bad judgement.
