4 foot gate constuction

I am building a 4 foot wide x 6 foot tall gate tomorrow. I am using 14 guage 1.75" square tubing. I have built lots of wood gates, but this will be my first steel one. The steel will just be for the frame, the gate will be clad with corrugated tin. When I build wooden gates, I always run a diagonal from the bottom hinge side to the top latch side to prevent sagging. Is this the way to do it on a steel gate?I also though about running angled pieces on the inside of all four corners. Reply:No need to do that with a span of 4 feet. Not with steel anyway in my opinion.
Reply:Here is a personal gate I did a week or so ago. If you put pickets on it like this it should be plenty rigid and not sag at all. Attached Images

All the labor which is now into the 24th straight weekend was volunteered and not paid. I was just offering an example for the guy trying to get ideas for a small gate. For someone 61 years old you've got an extremely inflated sense of yourself. Post some pictures of your own work besides a chopped up tractor/motorcycle seat and some scrap iron thrown together that you call "art" or shut the hell up!
