ESAB Rebel Tig Torch upgrade

Hello everyone, i have the Rebel 215ic, I’m a novice welder but I’m interested in learning Tig welding, even being a novice i can tell the oem torch is not very nice to work with, Can I purchase a Basic CK torch with gas valve an modified it myself to fit my machine or do i have to pay more an purchase a direct fit kit.? Thanks.
Reply:see if the machine connector can be removed. You may be able to use them on the CK torch. See if one of your local welding supply stores sell ESAB  and CK torches and will know what is needed to adapt. Try to gently pull black plug cover up the weld cable on the torch.
