Reply:Looks good to go.A buddy of mine saw me doing one, it was a much smaller broken piece than the one you did. I added some flat stock and shaped with grinder. The majority of the ones I hear about, at the bait shop, get ripped off and are not found. That is obviously not a new one you've welded on.

Reply:you can buy them new from the factorywhen a lower unit dont pass. they cut the skegoff and sell them i get them from the boat house in melbourne fl
