did some work on a 95 ford ranger yesterday. the frame under the beggining of the box on driver side had a small rotten section that was beggining to spread rapidly[its a camp trucklots of stresses on the old girl]. not much work to get it prepped, then i used 1/2in plate[2in.wide] and 6in.long on both sides to seal er up. very simple repair,only 1 hours worth of work. easy 50bucks too.sorry no pics my camera is getting old so it doesnt take very good pics.turned out nice though and itll outlast the rest of it. did i mention i live in the adirondacks, very rough service live on machines up this way. its amazing they last as long as they do around here.lincoln weld pak 100 hdlincoln ranger 225gxt ac/dcoxy/acetylenepuroxcw202 victor fc100harris model 85harrismodel 16oxweld w24roxweld w17 |
