My Maxtron and feeder have been residing on an industrial push cart since I bought them a few years ago. I finaly got the urge to build a cart for them and this is what I came up with. I got everything for it for $35 at my local steel supplier. It took me longer than I expected because alot of the steel was rusty but oh well, it was also cheap. the casters and tires cost me $20. Here are some pics

Reply:Thanx, I have to take the welder off tomorrow if I get time to drill the mounting holes for it. I think I am going to paint it to while I am at it. I pictured the flat black looking better for some reason. I will try to post better pics soon.
Reply:Here are the pics of the new paint with the cart empty. Waiting for it to dry as we speak. I will post more if it dries in time. Its a bit humid out here in north Florida so it may be long wait.  Attached ImagesLast edited by crawler30; 03-29-2011 at 01:08 PM.Reason: forgot to add pics!

Reply:Its not that bad to get in and out, I did it by myself today. I just set some blocks in front of the cart and some thin plywood under it and slid it out of the frame onto the blocks. I was thinking of making the entire top portion bolt on but I felt it would be better left rigid as possible for uneven driveway. As for lifting it out the top it would probably be easier for me to do it alone the way it is. I left the 2 top rails open in the rear as I had planned on making another piece to slip into them and wrap the tank with a hook on it for hanging the input cord. Right now it is not hooked up, I unhooked it from the panel because I am moving hopefully this week. Waiting on closing---------still waiting. Although I did put a dryer plug on it after I put the welder together to make sure nothing was arcing or causing a problem. It wasn't. I really kinda figured the black would look good against the blue but oh well, I used cheap paint so no big loss. I thought about doing something with less framing but in the end I figured my kids and their bikes would scratch the crap out of it if I did not completely frame it in. Not to mention I have a 3 yr old whom is extremely partial to ramming crap with my shop chair and anything else he can get a hold of. Thats what I get for using a racing seat for a shop chair. Still waiting on paint to dry but maybe tomorrow I will get it back together. I like the idea of the selector switch, I will have to make due with the old 3/4 wrench and switching cables for now though.Last edited by crawler30; 03-29-2011 at 04:20 PM.
