Hyd. Tubing, weld on fiting

I need to weld the fitting on 5/8 steel tubing, it is .o65 thick walls,  what is the best wayto make the weld??  and do i need to flux, like copper tubing?? I have a harris tourch setup,  or do i need tig/ mig ?? thanks, sam

Reply:Hi Wookie, For now i have rebent the old line and re-connected the line, i have the tubing cut to make another one, i think that i will buy new ends to weld on. I'am sure any good welder could do the job,I'am just started to learn welding, so far cutting out 3/4 bolt broken off, got any good advice.sam.
