Inline style torch cart/burning rig

I am not sure if this is the right place to post this, but does anyone know where an inline style torch cart can be purchased? I work in a power plant that has some really narrow spaces that are impossible to pass a standard side by side cart through. It turns a 20 minute job into an hour and a half exercise in wasted energy, time and production. I can make one, but my time is more importantly spent making stuff that is fun! Did a few searches ( Mcmaster,Grainger, Google etc) Am I using the wrong term? I have used a few in various plants I have worked at, so I know they are out there. Just another clown trying to be cool
Reply:I would guess it will be hard to find what you are looking for because the design would be easily tipped over. Not to say it wouldn't be usable but I doubt anyone is going to make something that some idiot might tip over and then sue them for damages and injuries because of poor stability.HH 187Miller Bluestar1EAHP AlphaTig 200X
Reply:I have an inline o/a cart, but it was bought used and is about 35 years old.So can't tell you where to get one.How about taking a moving cart, it already has pneumatic wheels, mine has plastic, reframe the bottom in to handle the load,add some flat plate, maybe add a gusset to the handles and getting a safety chain to keep the cylinders on, this will work ok.

Reply:I personally would rather set the cart up outside the hole and run the hose in ,even if it means you need 150 feet of hose.i think it is a lot more convenient and safer.keeps all the boiler ash out of the regulaters and makes it alot easyer to change tanks if need be.Allso at the end of the shift you can roll up the hose and shut off the bottles and be done.Remember Never ever leave a torch in a hole unattended there are some real horror stories out there about that. Just my 2cAfter the arc has died the weld remains
