Okay, Another Welding Cart By a Newb...

This actually has taken me quite a while.  Almost there now with the first coat of paint drying.Once the paint is dried and I get everything mounted up I'll post more pics."These instructions are at our present level ofknowledge. Reply:Thanks.  Much appreciated.My MIGPAK 180 came with a regulator, wire spool and components to swap in the drive wheel.  My understanding from a quick read of the manual is that all I need to buy is the bottle of shielding gas.I always weld with my garage door open and flux core is supposedly better in that situation (it's always windy here)."These instructions are at our present level ofknowledge. Reply:I like your design.  I'll need to build one soon also, and yours looks like a pretty good model.  I might add a little larger front wheels to make it easier to roll over cords and stuff, and maybe pad or round off the hangers sticking out to avoid a nasty whack.  A lot of welding carts I've seen are short and squatty, which seems wasteful of the floor space.  Having a taller unit with a couple of shelves for clamps, etc. would be very handy.  The gun tube is a good idea also, not so much for storage (winding up the whole lead would be better), but just as a holder.Have you found any problems with it yet?
Reply:Really nice job; I like everything about it.  Like one poster said you could probably pull those back wheels in a bit to save space unless you're worried about stability.  Here are a a couple of pictures of my cart.  It's shorter than yours and I new from the beginning I'd have the tank there so I made a bracket that's curved to fit the tank and used a chain to hold it up; working well so far.  I also bolted mine to the top and I use the handle on the Lincoln to pull it around.  I bought the Everlast stick welder after I built it and use the bottom shelf for it, but I need to weld a couple of pieces of rebar to wrap the leads for the stick on so they can be separate.  Here are a couple of pictures of mine.  Anyway, like I said nice job, BUT you're supposed to post pictures of the welds so we can critique them; it's half the fun!
