Hello All Newbie here, I searched and nothing comes up, I just recieved the gas saver kits,1/16,3/32,1/8 sizes for my CK flexlock 3 series 150a tig torch, the question is, When sliding the cup(alumina cups) over the screen mesh is very hard to slide in and then when removing the cup, the mesh gets all bent out of shape. Is that supposed to happend? it dont seems right. I saw the youtube demo and the guy dont make it look like is that hard to remove it. I appreciate any help, I emailed CK worldwide and no answer. 1/16,3/32,1/8 sizes kits # ckd3gs116,ckd3gs332,ckd3gs418

Reply:I got the answer from CK worldwide, "Yes, it is normal for the screens to get bent out of shape, especially during the first few times of use. This is easily corrected by flattening them back out prior to pushing the cup back into place. The nature of this design is important to prevent Argon cascading around the outside of the screen. You should find the ease of removing the cup gets better as the cup is removed and replaced a few times" Just incase anybody is wondering the tight fit Thanks |
