Rather than opening the can of acetone each time I'd like something simpler and faster to wet a rag.  The attached is the obvious answer in my book, but would like to know if anyone uses something cheaper than these and just as good or better.  It looks like that full metal body version is about $20.  All metal is what i want to go with.Appreciate the help.Fillethead Attached Images
Reply:If it does not have an o-ring or some sort of positive seal I might worry about the acetone evaporating.  Might be good for something to only hold a day's worth though, just fill it every morning before you start workingOwner of a classic car.
Reply:See Northernsafety.com1 pint plunger can:Thes are available in quart, 2 quart, and gallon sizes too.- MondoPS: Nothing like this will be cheap. If it contains flammable liquids or has the word "safety" attached to it there will be a premium price to cover the certifications testing and product liability insurance.-mLast edited by Mondo; 01-10-2013 at 10:44 AM.Member, AWSLincoln ProMIG 140Lincoln AC TombstoneCraftsman Lathe 12 x 24 c1935Atlas MFC Horizontal MillCraftsman Commercial Lathe 12 x 36 c1970- - - I'll just keep on keepin' on.
Reply:I'm a hobbiest (amateur newby) so filling and emptying each time i weld is not a big deal.  that size is just right.
Reply:I use one of these all the time.. works great and hold's the pressure for months
Reply:McmasterCarr has these that I use. Crack the top when not in use, tighten when in use. Otherwise daily temp variations will  pump out acetone.Weld like a "WELDOR", not a wel-"DERR" MillerDynasty700DX,Dynasty350DX4ea,Dynasty200DX,Li  ncolnSW200-2ea.,MillerMatic350P,MillerMatic200w/spoolgun,MKCobraMig260,Lincoln SP-170T,PlasmaCam/Hypertherm1250,HFProTig2ea,MigMax1ea.
Reply:used one of these for years while soldering electronics. Doesn't hold much but evaporation was never really bad.http://www.ebay.com/itm/Clear-Liquid...-/140816317891NickESAB CaddyTig 2200iPowermax 45MM140 (Sold)
