so i got these in a package trade the other day, but i don't recognize the style or brand. from what i find online, it looks like the brand just rebadges other brand welders, but that sounds pretty weird to me. there are two of these. the one i took a pick of says sg-527, and the other says sg-530 though they both have the same amphenol. anybody recognize these or seen the connector before? Reply:At red-d-arc.com it says they are an airgas company, and these appear to be controllers for their TIG machine(s) according to one of the online manuals.
Reply:They buy rebadged machines, often from Lincoln. The model numbers for the machines are kinda-sorta similar sometimes. : )
Reply:the red d arc machines I have seen on sites are rentals. They use miller and lincoln machines.UA Local 598
