Looking to see your oxy-propane cart design using the short FAT 20lb Lp tanks. Thanks,Rick
Reply:rickou812 - No pics, all I have are the same old ho-hum carts. But I've been thinking.... Why bother with a heavy wide frame? Let the oxygen cylinder itself provide the majority of structural support and then hang the small propane in front, making for a narrow easy to maneuver pack. Start with a garage sale golf bag cart? Good Luck
Reply:I dont weld much only a hoby welder. Had a couple of slicks and my buddy welded the diamond plate. This is what I came up with Attached Images
Reply:Now that is WAY-COOL!Especially interesting for me because your cylinders look the same size as mine. Rick V 1 Airco Heliwelder 3A/DDR3 CTC 70/90 amp Stick/Tig Inverters in Parallel1 Lincoln MIG PAK 151 Oxy-Acet
Reply:Nice, but my dilemma is, I have the short fat cylinders. But I do like the idea of maybe placing it in front of the Oxy cylinder. That would keep the width of the cart a little more manageable.
Reply:Here is my cart I made in the spring of 08. Nothing crazy but perfectly functional. Attached Images |
