Miller 250 dx won't keep an arc

I have a miller syncrowave 250dx with a thumb control tig torch. I was welding aluminum service body and then it just stopped holding an arc. I then tried to stick weld with it and could not get it to arc at all any suggestions what the issue is?Lincoln Ranger 250Lincoln Powermig 255cMiller syncrowave 250dxAll inside 6x12 carry on enclosed 97 powerstroke f350 crew cab

Reply:I have a 250dx as well when the humidity or dampness was just right I have had the hy freq do weird things like mess up the cd player and screw with the lights. I would agree with Kelvin as a grounding issue. I have the machine permently grounded with a grounding rod in the ground...but keep in mind that when the ground gets really dry it will seperate from the grounding rod. simply dump a bucket of water on the ground near the rod all is fixed.
